Windows XP
To change a user account image, follow these steps:
- Right-click on an image above.
- Choose Save Picture As, and save the image in a permanent location.
- Press the Start button.
- Choose Control Panel.
- Choose User Accounts.
- Choose the user account that you want to change.
- Choose Change My Picture.
- Choose Browse for More Pictures.
- Locate the folder that contains the image you saved.
- Choose the image that you want to use, and press Open.
- Close any open windows.
Windows Vista
To change a user account image, follow these steps:
- Right-click on an image above.
- Choose Save Picture As, and save the image in a permanent location.
- Press the Start button.
- Choose Control Panel.
- Choose User Accounts and Family Safety (or User Accounts if you are connected to a network).
- Choose User Accounts.
- Choose Change Your Picture.
- Choose Browse for More Pictures.

- Choose the image that you want to use, and press Open.
