We’ve been quietly making some enhancements to the site these past few days, and more may be on the way.

Google Plussed

To avoid any confusion, there are now two Google+ profiles. The profile that I was using before was designed for individuals. Yesterday, I discovered what are called Google+ Pages, which are basically the same thing, but designed for brand entities.

The old Google+ profile is now Robert Nava’s (a.k.a. Trader Sam) profile. It will be used for friends, family, and the occasional Disney blurb. Of course, those Disney blurbs will also be posted into the new official Google+ page for the Disney Experience. All relevant posts have been re-posted onto the new page and deleted from the old one.

If you were following Trader Sam before, you may want to head on over to the new page and add the Disney Experience to your circles. It’s okay if you decide to remove Trader Sam from your circles; you won’t miss any Disney posts.

Back from the Depths

I was going through the website today, looking for any broken/mis-matched links. That’s when I came to discover that Uhu02′s Black Pearl paper model is available to the public! Oh, happy day! It had been previously kept private (except for those of us who knew how to access it) due to pirate activity (ironic!). Hopefully, that will make up for the long-overdue Disneyland pirate ship videos.

I am looking into new screen capture software right now. The one I was using (VLC) only recorded video, so I had to record audio separately. Of course, the two never wanted to play nice and sync up during editing. I did find another piece of software (CamStudio) that records both, but the quality isn’t nearly as good. I may have to look into paid software, but they can be expensive. Sit tight.

Mini Update

If you haven’t been following on Google+, I’ve updated both the Flying Saucer and Demon Clock mini paper models. They have been re-drawn with cleaner, smoother graphics, and the cut/fold lines are clearly defined.

As an added bonus, I’ve re-structured all of the donation prices in the Donation Center to give you a bit more bang for your buck. I know that the economy is tough on everyone’s pocket.

I blame Fred Folger for this, I really do. Fred is the designer of the Country Bear Playhouse featured in the video. If I had to withstand the torture of listening to my nephews sing and play with it, you have to, too!
