Cláudio Dias (Paperinside.com) has released another Alice in Wonderland paper model. This time, it’s the caterpillar, complete with his hookah. Looking at the other AiW models, Cláudio has also snuck in a mirror bird.

If you haven’t been keeping up on the latest news of the Head Shrinker, here’s the scoop on this year’s Haunted Experience (next edition).
The enhanced Flash edition will not be finished in time, so it will debut in 2007 instead. Everything is being redrawn, beginning with hand-drawn sketches, and there are a lot of brand-new mansion locations to explore!
There will be a Maleficent overlay for this year’s Haunted Experience, along with the annual Villain Collection and Halloween treats.

If you haven’t read the “Grave” News, do so, because I have an update.
I’ve decided that there will not be a Flash design for this year’s Haunted Experience. There will be a site makeover, though, along with the annual Halloween treats.
This October, Maleficent will be taking over the site from head to toe. Everything will look familiar, but it will all be under Maleficent’s evil spell. It’s a fun twist(ed) to the site.
The spell is cast October 8!

The upcoming Haunted Experience is taking longer to develop than planned, and it won’t be finished in time. Between work and all of the other projects and plans that have rolled out this year, I’ve had little time to “visit” the mansion. On top of that, 90% of the mansion graphics are created from hand-sketches—I have a growing stack of drawings—and there are many new little nitches to see and explore. It’s much more impressive and more interactive than previous versions.
I’m in a pickle about what to do for this year’s Haunted Experience, though. I may end up re-posting a previous version.
In the meantime, expect the NEW Haunted Experience in 2007. I know it’s a long wait, but it will be worth it. I may even change the teaser to show a different mansion area.
"The new site looks very spiffy! Thanks for bringing a little more Disney into my life (and my computer, too) :)"
