. . . just not in a good way.
Earlier in the week, many servers were hit with a virus that installed a script on many websites. The Disney Experience was one of those sites. I’ve since cleaned up the site (just a tiny bit of HTML added to PHP files), and everything has been back to normal for the past 2-3 days.

Today, I thought I’d explain how I work. When and why I do what I do. The biggest question that I get in my email is, “When will [...] come out?” Not that I’m complaining about this, no! But, I do get a lot of them, and sometimes I just don’t feel like answering them. If I’m in a bad mood, I immediately delete them. Nothing personal. I know that a lot of folks get excited, and just have to know when something will be released. I’m the same way. We can’t help it.

It is with great regret that I inform everyone about Doorless Chambers’ closure. The reasons are twofold, and are both linked to the current U.S. economic situation.
First, I am forced to cut personal spending costs farther than ever before, which now includes online activities. Doorless Chambers is one of those activities that is not crucial, and can save me monthly hosting costs.
Second, when I am not working, I am spending more time searching for paying clients. It’s how I make my living, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find time to devote to personal and public projects. Sad, but true.
I’d like to thank all who participated in the events in the prior years. Your interest, enthusiasm, and support has been greatly appreciated.
I will continue to hold on to the domain name in case things pick back up in the future. Here’s hoping that I can one day raise Doorless Chambers from the dead.
I had to fix a slight snaffu with the contest. In order for participants to rank all of the prizes, there had to be a set number of prizes to choose from. So, I spent some time yesterday to finalize the prize list.
Now, the list contains prizes that have yet to be secured (but I’ll try my very best to get them). It’s easier to remove an item than it is to add, which would require re-submitting entries, folks missing out on prizes that they’d rather have, etcetera. It’d be a big mess!
I’d like to thank Disneyana.com for offering some of the prizes. They have some hard-to-find pirate items that are not listed on their store, and they were graciously willing to part with.
"Great site. Love the computer icons and backgrounds."
