Ah, the first download of the year. This fresh, new wallpaper stems from a blue-sky project currently in the works.

Happy New Year, everyone! The holidays are over, the decorations are back in storage, and the Christmas tree has been chopped to bits.

Yeah, I have to cut the Christmas tree (8-9 feet tall) down so that it will fit inside the green waste bin. It’s too big for regular trash pickup. Like last year, I found a bird nest hidden among the branches.

Unlike the previous years, I didn’t take my usual “vacation” from the computer. I always have a very hard time trying to get back onto it to start any type of work, so this time, I just kept chugging along. Having several podcast subscriptions that need daily updating helped. Email helped, too. So, here I am, ready and rearing to go.

I will admit that I did take a vacation from this site (excluding email), and focused more on private interests like last-minute shopping, holiday decorating, cooking, checking email, podcast updates, listening to holiday music via Pandora, beefing up my board game collection, and spending time with family & friends. So, there have been little to no additional work on the castle instructions. But, that’s all over, and it’s time to get back to work.
