In 2006, the Demon Clock mini paper model was available as a Halloween treat. If you never got it, you were out of luck . . . until now. The model has been enlarged and reformatted as a free gift with donation in time for Halloween. Of course, the money also buys you entries into this month’s giveaway.
I actually forgot about this little gem until someone wrote a comment that reminded me of it.
I found this live video performance of Windows to Sky’s rendition of the Haunted Mansion attraction soundtrack, which I thought was fun. They came out with this two years ago, and you can still buy this wonderful track (or entire CD, if you like) at their website.
No, I don’t mean that glorious debacle that Jack Skellington causes every year. It’s time for Hallmark stores to release the second wave of Keepsake Ornaments! Let’s have a look at the rest of the Disney ornaments that will premiere this weekend (October 8-9).
I love finding remixes to “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” one of my favorite songs. As a treat, I thought I’d sprinkle spooktastic recordings throughout the month. If you know of any that should be featured here this month, contact me.
All $1-minimum donations are automatically entered to win. Donations must be received by October 31 (Pacific Time). Winners are selected at random.
You know what? Since we’re having a special, extra-long Haunted Experience, and I’m in the Halloween spirit, let’s take that left-over prize from last month’s giveaway and open it up to everyone for October! This month’s winner will receive all 7 Haunted Mansion comics.
If you have any questions, please feel free to either leave a comment or send an email. Winners will be announced on November 1.
October marks the anniversary of the Disney Experience. Can you believe that it has been twelve years? And, this is the tenth year of the Haunted Experience. Where has the time gone?
To celebrate, we’re slashing the cost of the logo pin to $7. This special price* will only be valid throughout the month of October, so grab one quickly.
And, congratulations to the winners of last month’s giveaways! Unfortunately, there were no international entries, so those prizes will get locked away for another time. That said, the two winners of the Halloween Costumes giveaway are: Margaret Kozick & John Douglas. Check your email, soon, for details on how to claim your prizes.
*All last month, one of the donation ads incorrectly displayed the words “Limited time anniversary price!” for the regularly-priced $10 pins. If you bought a pin thinking that the price was going up, I sincerely apologize for the confusion.
