Today, we’re going to explore some paper models of the past, present, and future. Let’s start off with . . .

The Present:

Becky sends us more photos of her other projects in this quick Fan Board update. You can also download her files to create a very nice platform for the Main Street Train Station paper model.

The Past (possibly future):

I started this Monorail Mark VII model over a year ago, but I never got around to finishing it. I really only need to create the car connectors. The model is long, complete with a display beam.

The Future:

Here’s a really quick photo update of the Sleeping Beauty Castle paper model. As always, you can keep track of the model’s progress on Flickr.

  • Don:

Hey Sam as always WOW… Have you giving any more though to finishing the monorail now that the castle is done. I would love to have it as part of my display.

    • Trader Sam:

Of course. But, it will have to wait until the instructions for the castle are finished. The monorail is very close to being completed. I need to rework the car connections.

  • Chris:

Wow! This is looking good. Do you have an idea of when this will be ready for the public? Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant has always been my favorite of the Disney castles (although I’ve never been to Disneyland Paris), and I can’t wait to start building it. Keep up the good work.

    • Trader Sam:

I don’t know when it will be available. It has to be finished and go through an approval process.

  • becky:

    Totally wicked! On all levels!

    • Alex:

The Castle really looks AWESOME!!!!!! every detail is there, is amazing how this model is coming to life. How tall is the model?? great high btw!!

      • Trader Sam:

The model is 29.25 inches high, making it the tallest model I’ve done to date.
