Rather than re-edit the contest page, I thought I’d submit the questions and answers here. Someone might be sifting through the archives one day, and might enjoy some POTC trivia.

  • Trader Sam:

All prizes were mailed out this afternoon. They would have gone out last week, but I had 6 teeth pulled. Needless to say, I wasn’t in much of a mood to make too many trips into town.

All winner notifications have now been sent out, so check your email!

There were a total of 13 people (lucky number, huh?) who got all 10 questions correct. Unfortunately, only 10 can win.

One person (Mr. X) did find a loophole in the rules. I never stated how many times a person could enter. Mr. X submitted 12 entries, but only got 9 correct answers. For all of his troubles, he still didn’t win anything. Sorry, Mr. X, but I hope you enjoyed yourself. I hope you all did.

I loved this contest. Nice and tricky questions! Don’t you think though, that question 10 was ambiguous, since Davey Jones’ Chest is the ultimate item Beckett saught? Therefore both the compass and the chest would be correct answers?

    • Trader Sam:

You may have a point there. But, that’s not what he asked for. I admit that I could have re-worded that one better.

      • Joe Soap:

How is i not what he asked for? Beckett was after the chest was he not? It is an item. Therefore, it fits as a correct answer. I truly don’t see how it’s wrong.
