After finally getting everything installed and copied to my new computer (happy birthday to me!), I’ve begun to explore Windows 7’s customization features. I love that I can have multiple wallpapers that change every so often, and I like the ability to change the glass color without it being too gaudy. But, one thing that the operating system lacks is the ability to change system icons. That’s always been the case, and I doubt it will change any time soon. But, that’s where IconPackager steps in.
Right now, I have a couple of wallpapers designed from Louie Mantia. I’ve been trying to find a decent icon set with little success. With all of this icon digging and customization, I’ve gotten into a design mood; I just may take matters into my own hands and create my own set. It may be something . . . incredible.
