It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, so I thought I’d blurb about some random things.

So far, I haven’t received any complaints about the updated format for the Disney Experience. Thanks go to all who’ve been kindly pointing out errors. I’m really enjoying the new random updates; I can generally update whenever I like, and I don’t have to shuffle several files each time. I should have done this long ago, but noooo . . . I had to be different. But, that’s me; I’d rather dive head-first into something new and different than follow suit with others.

Being a Pirates fan, I picked up my copy of the 2-disc At World’s End DVD, complete with an exclusive 7-inch Captain Teague (Jack Sparrow’s father) action figure. What? Where did I get my mitts on the action figure? Head on over to your local Best Buy store, and look for this exclusive gift set. There’s even a free bonus DVD with extra pirate content (available at the check-out counter).

Other than that, I’ve been busy getting into the Christmas spirit. It was time to clean and polish all of the electric train tracks this year, which is a you-know-what and a half. You’ve gotta keep them clean, otherwise the grime and tarnish reduce conductivity. It’s not fun to have dead zones.

My other holiday project was released on the Disney Experience yesterday. The holiday carousel card really does take some time, good eye sight, and a steady hand. The uploaded project is a work-in-progress as I’m creating my own final version. I’ve noticed that the ‘Dream’, ‘Wish’, ‘Give’, ‘Love’, & ‘Laugh’ texts didn’t come out too good in the PDF, so I’m considering removing them. I think this will make the design look cleaner, and will allow folks to add personal messages. I may also add a template for transforming the carousel into five individual holiday cards. And feel free to experiment by printing on paper other than solid white. I’m printing on white card stock that has a snow-like frosty shimmer.
