Chilling, Thrilling Sounds

“Turn your home into a haunted house with these spine-chilling, heart-pounding, hair-raising sound effects. They’re perfect for spicing up parties . . . welcoming trick-or-treaters . . . or listening alone in the dark!”

There have been a couple of iterations of this album, and a few different cover designs. With the popularity of Disneyland‘s Haunted Mansion attraction, this album has lasted for decades . . . even though it had nothing to do with the attraction. “Chillling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House” is the creepier of the albums.

Side one features “frightening situations,” complete with ambient sounds and effects to make you feel like you are immersed in different locations or situations.

Side two contains “eerie sound effects.” These effects are singled out as clean, individual sounds, which would come in handy if you could put any effect on a loop for different situations in your home haunt.

Have a listen to the full album on MouseVinyl.com, and enjoy just over 30 minutes of spooky goodness. Halloween sound effect records are impractical except as background noise at parties, or if you can edit out snippets as mp3 files for your haunt. But, they’re always fun to listen to on your own . . . in the dark.
