  • Robert:

Hi Sam, i want to let you know that i’m working on your Californian papermodel of the castle. i’ve found a neat idea i’m replacing the old things of the castle inside for the 2009 pictures of the walk trough tru the castle, i’m not sure it is the right order but i found it a good idea.

  • Robert:

I did mean Disneyland my bad, i’ve get mixed up then becausei’m working on the Californian Castle Paper model with the Wishing well of Snow White.

  • Robert:

The Wising well in Disneyland Resort Paris has indeed no name but the well belongs to Snow White, (just like in Disney’s California Adventure Park), offen she has a Character Meeting there. People there can take a photo with her & Dopey, The Prince or the evil queen.

    • jay:

oh thats cool i never knew u could meet snow white at the well :D

    • jay:

wait a second thee is no well in disneys california adventure. do u meen disneyland

  • jay:

im so exite. im listening to the fantilusion music now and its making me think just how magical this castle is…..by the way the castles wishing well has no name sadly. there are some good pictures of the castle and the wishing well at photoes magiques.com ;D

  • Robert:

    Hi Sam,

Do you think Disney gives premission to place this model? Because”, i read in a article that Disney has forgot something in their contract so everbody could use the name of mickey Mouse & Disney! if they don’t it’s a shame to not placed this model. How did you put up the other models

    • Trader Sam:

Oh, it’s nothing like that. It’s stated in my contract that all papercrafts containing Disney intellectual properties must be approved before releasing them. All of my models have been reviewed by Disney artists, and they meet/exceed Disney standards. Unfortunately, the Disney Interactive Media Group (formerly Walt Disney Internet Group) went through some major changes, and the people in charge have been shuffled around to other areas. I’m still trying to get the pop-up card approved.

  • Robert:

    Hi Sam,

this model looks also great! Do you have any idea when the model is like the other paper models? so that you can print it.

I’ve also have new photo’s from my model, but i have to load my accu first for that when that’s ready i send my new photo’s for the fan board.

    Keep up the good work!

    Greetings from the netherlands.

    • Trader Sam:

Well, I’m certainly looking forward to seeing your model updates.

It will be another month or two before it’s finished. After that, I still need to get approval from Disney before I can put it in your hands.

  • Moonliner:

This is looking great Sam! I was wondering if you have an idea of the scale vs. the Disneyland castle. I’d love them sitting side by side. And without trying to sound ungrateful, any chance for a Cinderella castle? I remember Becky working on one. Any news on that?

    • Trader Sam:

I don’t work on any scale. I just like to make them big so that I can fit a lot of physical and graphical detail into them. Plus, the large sizes make it a little easier to put together and enjoy.

I’m looking forward to a Cinderella Castle model, too. Since Becky was working on one, I thought I’d take a different route. I don’t know how far along she is. I lost her email address, so maybe she’ll grace us with an update.

  • ME:

Hi, this is the best 3d model of the castle that i have ever seen. I wonder if you could make a cross eyed 3d photo for this model =D, just like the one you did with the castle pop-up (only if you have time ;D )

Good Luck with your paper model! it is just wonderful.

    (sorry for bad englishh =D)

    • Trader Sam:

That’s a good idea! A few stereoscopic images are now up.

      • ME:

        thanks =)

      • jay:

i cant wait untill this model comes out and i have an idea….why not make the wishing well that u can find at the castle in paris. it will be like your other sleeping beauty castle

      • Trader Sam:

It’s possible, but it would be a later addition. Does the well have a name, or is it just a plain old wishing well?
