Who didn’t love the Disney Dollar? And, who didn’t cry when they were retired in 2016? They were fun to use and to collect. Sigh . . . But, there’s a light of hope – sort of. Michelle, Mad for the Mouse<\/em><\/a>, has created what she calls Mouse Bucks. They’re very similar in style to Disney Dollars, but they are one-sided and are meant to be used in the home.<\/p>\n

Print out these designs and let children earn Mouse Bucks in your home. They can later exchange them for real cash (handy if you can’t pay them right away) or they can use them to “pay” for non-physical items. For example, they could use Mouse Bucks to earn the right to pick out a film for movie night. Or, they can save up for an extra scoop of ice cream on their cone. Maybe they earned a trip to the park. The options are endless, and you will be teaching children the value of moth money and work and how to manage both.<\/p>\n

The designs are split into different themes: miscellaneous characters<\/a>, Disney favorites<\/a>, Marvel heroes<\/a>, Sofia the First<\/a>, Doc McStuffins<\/a>, and Christmas flair<\/a>.\u00a0The bills primarily have a $1 value, but there is a single set (Disney favorites) of $5 bills.<\/p>\n

We should tell you that these designs are not free. But, they are very cheap since they are a digital download. We’ve seen similar “Disney Dollar” designs, but honestly, they were of poor quality. If these didn’t remind us so much of the classic Disney Dollars, we wouldn’t have even mentioned them.<\/p>\n
