What’s Inside<\/h2>\n

This month is short. The first part of the engine is completed, and the wing gets larger and heavier.<\/p>\n

Assembling the Engine<\/h2>\n

The engine casing is decorated with a lot of small greeblies.<\/p>\n

Moving to the interior, I first check that the LED works.<\/p>\n

Bending the LED wires still freaks me out. What if the wires break? What if the LED cracks? Psychologically, it’s horrible. But, the engine is completed, and I can rest easy.<\/p>\n

Joining the Wing Sections<\/h2>\n

\"Wing<\/a><\/p>\n

Moving on to the wing, both sections are joined together with three metal supports. Then, the wiring is routed through the wing channel.<\/p>\n

The wing is now much larger and heavier. It feels good to hold it.<\/p>\n

In the end, there are several small greeblies left over that will be used in the next few issues. They make me feel kind of shortchanged since there is nothing to do but store them away. But, that just means that there will be more parts to assemble next month when the wing is completed. Woo-Hoo!<\/p>\n
