I&#8217;m a little sun-burned, but not nearly as bad as others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"postImage\" href=\"https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/grizzly1.jpg\" rel=\"p2HrPi-Hc\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2679 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/grizzly1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/grizzly1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/grizzly1-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/grizzly1.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The first place I headed to was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oerm.org\/3-foot-gauge-grizzly-flats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><em>Grizzly Flats Railroad<\/em><\/a> barn. This is where Ward Kimball&#8217;s train collection is held, and it&#8217;s one of the nicer buildings on the property. Just inside the entrance, the Chloe &amp; Coach 5 were there to greet visitors. You never know where the engines and cars are since they are taken out every so often. It houses the personal collection of Evan Middleton who ran the toy train shop in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knotts.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><em>Knott&#8217;s Berry Farm<\/em><\/a> in the 1960&#8217;s. It is best known for the toy train collection, amongst which I found a tiny (literally) tribute to Ward Kimball. Someone found a tiny railroad figurine and painted it to look just like Ward.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"postImage\" href=\"https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/redcar.jpg\" rel=\"p2HrPi-Hc\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2684 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/redcar-300x239.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"239\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/redcar-300x239.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/redcar-150x119.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.disneyexperience.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/redcar.jpg 753w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Later in the day, I met up with family. The first thing we did was head over to the loading platform where my two sisters and two nephews rode a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oerm.org\/red-cars-pacific-electric\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pacific Electric Red Car<\/a>. According to one of the conductors, the trolley that they rode would be one of several from the museum that is being purchased for use at <em>California Adventure&#8217;s<\/em> new trolley line. If you want to ride one of the future <em>DCA<\/em> Red Cars , visit the museum on a Saturday or Sunday.
