Disneyland Autograph Book

There are park staples that sell to many people who walk through those chirping admission gates: Mickey ears, churros, and autograph books. Autograph books. If you’re going to have your photo taken with Disney characters, you’re most likely going to want an autograph book if you’re that kind of person or you have kids. To save money, you could buy a cheap notebook from a store outside of the park, but that’s kind of boring. You’re in a Disney park; you need something with Disney flair. You could always buy one online; there are many to choose from. But, why not stand out from the crowd and make your own?

The most important part of any autograph book are the pages themselves. These are where you’re going to keep your treasured ink. But, don’t settle for blank sheets. Add some character to go along with your character autographs. If you look online, you’ll find a lot of printable pages or cards – many on Etsy.

In our opinion, autograph cards are a little more versatile. They can be used for scrapbooking, they can be placed into photo books (include them with character photos), they can be framed individually or as a set, they can be collected like trading cards, or you can bind them together for a traditional book if that’s what you prefer. But individually, they’re easier for the characters to sign. There are no fumbling around with floppy book covers or flipping through pages in search for a blank page. Of course, you’ll also need a small clip board or two as a courtesy.

While looking at different printable (and free) autograph cards, a couple of options stood out. The first set is from The Sew*er, The Caker, The CopyCat Maker. Each card features white character silhouettes against bright, bold colors (princesses get pastel colors). Two sizes are available (half sheet & quarter sheet); scroll all the way down the page for the download link.

The second autograph card set is from Hip2Save. The 4-inch by 6-inch cards are colorful with eclectic background designs, but they feature clear character images.
