Yes, it’s another Disney Villainous post, albeit an unintentional one.

During my latest reviews of the Disney Villainous board game, you may have noticed some storage solutions (in the photos) which were never made available for public download. They are a few tuck boxes that I designed to safely store the villain guides, tokens, player boards, etcetera. I made them strictly for myself because a) I didn’t know if they anyone would be interested, b) the patterns are too big to fit onto regular sheets of cardstock, c) they were designed for use with a cutting machine, and d) the dimensions were created to fit my own needs. They are really something that need to be made to suit an individual’s taste. But, I think I found a solution for those of you crafty enough to make these on your own.

The website, templatemaker.nl, has a ton of handy online template makers, including one for creating your own tuck boxes. By inputting dimensions, you can create tuck boxes that meet your own requirements. The final templates can be downloaded as PDF, SVG, or DXF files.

If you would like to make boxes that are the same dimensions as mine, keep reading. All of the dimensions are in millimeters, and customizable labels are now available.

Villain Guides & Reference Cards

Villain Guides & Reference Cards Tuck Box

The tuck box for the villain guides and reference cards is large enough to hold quite a bit of content for roughly 30 villains. The box is thin, yet still has plenty of storage space for future expansions.

In the template maker, input these dimensions:

  • Length: 85
  • Width: 25
  • Height: 120
  • Thumb Hole Diameter: 20
  • Tuck Flap Size: 18
  • Glue Flap Size: 21
  • Glue Flap Angle: 80
  • Material Thickness: .4 (good for basic cardstock—increase this if you are using thicker material)
  • Rounded Corners Radius: 3

Token & Markers

Markers & Tokens Tuck Box

The tuck box that holds all of the miscellaneous tokens and markers, again, is large enough to hold everything with plenty of room to spare. I keep my tokens sorted with recloseable bags for quick access to only the ones that I need.

In the template maker, input these dimensions:

  • Length: 85
  • Width: 35
  • Height: 120
  • Thumb Hole Diameter: 20
  • Tuck Flap Size: 18
  • Glue Flap Size: 21
  • Glue Flap Angle: 80
  • Material Thickness: .4 (good for basic cardstock—increase this if you are using thicker material)
  • Rounded Corners Radius: 3

Player Boards

Player Boards Box

The container for the player boards is a large tuck box, but without any of the top flaps. It can hold 18-20 player boards.

In the template maker, input these dimensions:

  • Length: 108
  • Width: 62
  • Height: 220
  • Thumb Hole Diameter: 20
  • Tuck Flap Size: 18
  • Glue Flap Size: 21
  • Glue Flap Angle: 80
  • Material Thickness: .4 (good for basic cardstock—increase this if you are using thicker material)
  • Rounded Corners Radius: 3
