Where Magic Meets Imagination & Creativity

 The Disney Experience  |  January 1, 2020

Happy New Year! Today, we start a new year, a new decade . . . and a new website slogan.

When we started out, the Disney Experience was primarily focused on downloads that allowed you to customize your computer (desktop wallpapers, icons, mouse cursors, etc.). But, as time moved on, we started adding projects & crafts, paper models, food recipes, and even some product reviews. Although they are seemingly unrelated, they all have a connection: creativity and imagination.

From the beginning, we have encouraged you to use your imagination and create things. Maybe you want to create the Ultimate Disney Computer System by customizing your icons, wallpapers, and fonts. Maybe you want to take some flat sheets of paper and craft them into a three-dimensional Pirate Ship Restaurant. Perhaps you feel like cooking imaginative foods in the shapes of favorite Disney characters for your friends and family to enjoy around the dinner table. Or, possibly, you don’t feel like putting in a lot of physical work. Well, creativity can exist in the theater of the mind—put your imagination to work with a board game like Villainous, listen to some music, or get lost in a good book. Imagination and creativity are important things, and without them, we wouldn’t have the wheel, automobiles, or even Disney theme parks. Can you imagine no theme parks!?

So, we’ve changed our website slogan to “Where Magic Meets Imagination & Creativity,” which more accurately reflects what we are all about—because here, imagination & creativity meet Disney magic.

And, if you’re ever in a sharing mood, share some of your imaginative creations with us to post on the Fan Board.

Depends on whether there was a “year zero” or not. ; )

Ah, but if there was a “year zero,” would it be B.C. or A.D.?

  • Trader Sam:

Technically, the new decade doesn’t begin until January 1, 2021. 2020 is actually the last year of the current decade.
