2020 Holiday Support Drive

At this time of the year, we do an annual Holiday Support Drive to help either fill in financial gaps or get a head-start on the new year.

Your donations go toward (but are not limited to) the monthly operating costs of the Disney Experience, new equipment, new software, replenishing stock for donation gifts, organizing giveaways, supplies for creating new projects/tutorials, and more.

Most of all, your donations help keep everything FREE for everyone, and with your continued support, we can make sure that this site doesn’t suffer the same fate as other awesome Disney fan sites that have been lost to the Internet void. We love this website, and we don’t want it to ever go away. We love what we do, and we love you, our guests.

We deeply appreciate all of your donations, and we thank all of you who have helped support the Disney Experience over the years. Without you, we certainly wouldn’t have been able to go on as long as we have (over 20 years!). Some of you have been very generous in the past, and it’s been unbelievable.

Cool New Things

Because we have to put forth the majority of the costs from our own pocket, we have to use a good portion of our time earning the extra money that keeps this website going. That gives us less time to spend creating content for you. But, with your support, we can continue focusing on creating and doing cool new things!

As the Coronavirus surges yet again, it’s important to stay at home and practice physical distancing. And, what better way is there to pass the time than to do some crafts!?

This year, we explored cross stitching. We made a few unique cross stitch patterns based on our classic icon designs as well as a tutorial for beginners. We made new desktop wallpapers, we created several Disney Villainous gaming accessories, we designed some fun coloring books, we reviewed several Disney products, and more. And, of course, work continued on the DeAgostini X-Wing model kit, which will be concluded in 2021.

Stocking Stuffers (Limited Time Offer)

For a limited time—November 17, 2020 through December 9, 2020—all donation gifts are available at reduced prices.

Our mini paper models, like our Rocket Jet, make fun stocking stuffers for crafty Disney fans.

If you want to add some Disney flair to your gifts, we also have a collection of gift tags grouped into themes. You could print and cut them out yourself, but you’d miss out on special features like:

• Printed in high resolution
• Permanent adhesive backing
• Pre-cut
• Weatherproof
• Tear-resistant

As an added bonus, you will also receive a set of collectible stickers . . . just for fun! Typically, the stickers feature elements from the included gift tags. Both the sticker count and the designs vary with each pack, and they are subject to change without notice.

As the holiday season is a very busy time for the postal service, we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

Ads

Ads are another source of revenue for the website, albeit a much smaller portion. We know how annoying ads can be, and we know how some websites can take them too far. We like to think that we balance them just right. But, they are important to content creators like us: they help keep the lights on, and they help keep everything that we do free for you. Well, almost everything—you do need to make a donation to get exclusive free gifts.
