2018 Disney Parks Attraction Poster Calendar: 13 Items in 1

Back in September, I got to meet a friend (Hi, Jeff!) for the first time in person at Disneyland. I had a less than stellar experience with another person, so I was a tad nervous about this meeting. Right away, I knew I was going to have a great time.

Since I hadn’t been to the park in a few years, I definitely wanted a souvenir to mark the occasion. I found it in the form of a 12-month attraction poster wall calendar. I had seen them online from previous years, but never in person. The 12-inch-wide, 21-inch-long calendar was an impressive size, and the poster designs that it featured were a great selection from the vast poster collection. It cost $25-30 (I really don’t remember), which didn’t put too much of a dent in my wallet.

The posters are printed on single one-sided sheets of durable card stock and wire bound with a stiff metal loop for hanging on the wall. The posters are so large that there is hardly any room for the actual calendar. Printed at the very bottom is the name of the month and a series of small numbers and letters. Minimalism was the theme here, I guess, but I can’t complain with the large, beautiful posters.

In addition to being a calendar, I was surprised to notice that every poster is perforated along the top and bottom for easy removal. That means that at the end of each month, I get a 12-inch by 18-inch poster that is suitable for framing. I can definitely see buying more of these calendars in the future to build up my selection of frame-able Disney artwork.

Spending $25-30 for a wall calendar that I could enjoy for a full year was fair considering both its size and the great artwork that it contained. Spending $25-30 for a large calendar AND 12 frame-able attraction posters was a great deal! Unfortunately, these posters are only sold at the Disney parks.
